Subject Matter Expert - Structural Composite Vehicle Engineering - Research Department

Jaguar Land Rover

Graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie et Physique de Bordeaux (ENSCPB) with a master degree in Material Science and Engineering. I work since 2006 in the design, engineering, manufacturing and delivery of composite solution and process for various industries. From 2006 to 2009 worked for a SME delivering composite component and prototype for Aeronautic, Naval, Luxury or Tooling industries. I was responsible for composite products and processes development & delivery, production management and management of R&D projects. Then until 2015, I worked for PSA group (Peugeot-Citroen) as an Innovation leader for lightweight structure. I managed and delivered several internal and collaborative innovation projects such as the thermoplastic door side beam with DuPont or a SMC composite front floor project in partnership with Plastic Omnium. I was also deeply involved in the overall composite material and supplier strategy, with a special interest in carbon fibre. Today I work for Jaguar Land Rover in the Body Structure Research Team in which I am focusing on the management and delivery of composite related projects for Body Structure application. As a Subject matter Expert for Structural Composite my expertise also spreads into the differents projects (research or pre-dev), strategies and workstreams related to structural composite development. Most of the projects are public funded by the UK government, IUK or APC, such as: TOSCAA, CHAMAELEON or more recently the TUCANA project. JLR is also conducting internal project with industrial partners.
